convergence
Convergence is a site-specific installation exploring how color and surface can subtly transform the perception of a room. At the intersection of painting, frame, and architecture, the work highlights moments where a painting extends into space, engaging with the walls and activating the surrounding environment. The frame is carefully constructed to follow the architecture, aligning with the angles and proportions of the wall below and the angled ceiling above, creating a visual unit between wall, ceiling, and installation.
Through this dialogue, the work shifts the meaning of the wall itself, turning it from background into an active participant in the composition, while inviting viewers to notice how small interventions can transform spatial perception and the relationship between object and space.
